Special Breast Cancer Message from Jordan

I want to express my appreciation for all the wonderful women in my life and let you know that my thoughts are with you all during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Thank you for your part in my life. And to the sisters in my church, I give gratitude to God for your kindness.
I also give thanks to Him for my sister, Terri, who died of breast cancer earlier in the year. "I love you, my dear sister. You will never be forgotten."

Jordan's Life in Pictures

Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life. ~2 Nephi 31:20

Suffering with a debilitating life-threatening illness for the past year, Jordan is barely hanging on and his health is deteriorating more by the day. And except for the Lord and a precious few who genuinely love and care about him, Jordan is all alone and on his own with no emotional, physical, or spiritual support.

But as Jordan says, "The Lord is my rock and I'm standing with Him all the way." Jordan can barely stand or walk on his own without the assistance of a walker, yet his faith in the Lord never wavers. He also recognizes now that he must do away with those who talk out of both sides of their mouth - those who talk the talk but don't walk it. He knows now to Whom he needs to put all his trust in. He has spent years caring and doing for others, and though he has faced unimaginable trials and sometimes doubts his own worth, his faith and hope in Heavenly Father and His Son is Jordan's mainstay, and it is continually growing.

Having been attractive all his life and previously owning a successful modeling career, Jordan is now self-conscious because of the toll poor health has taken on him, but to me, he will always be beautiful because of how much his inner beauty shines outward, which is far more glorious than he knows.

Here is Jordan's life in pictures.

Love you, Jordan!

Personal thoughts from Jewel:

Dear readers:

Your fervent prayers are needed for Jordan. He is far sicker than most realize and he isn't getting any better. This is a crucial time and he needs all the help, love, and support he can get. I remind Jordan of the Lord's love for him and try to help him understand that though there aren't many people he can depend on, he can depend on the Lord, as well as those few generous souls that the Lord has kept in his life.

This is a time when Jordan should be surrounded by ward members and loved ones, offering support and willing to go out of their way to succor him, just as the Savior would. As Jordan's brothers and sisters in Christ, we should all be there for him, doing whatever we can to help. Sadly, Jordan does not have that, and the Savior weeps because of it. Jordan is HIS, but that has never seemed to matter.

Because of this, I wish to express my gratitude to Jordan's medical team for having been so good to him and for taking such amazing care of him. You have been true friends to him and the Lord will bless you for all your efforts.

Thank you, Den, for the unwavering friendship you have shown Jordan, going out of your way to make sure his needs are met and doing what you can to make sure he does not go without. May the Lord bless you and your home as well.

Jordan has had the adversary breathing down his neck for so long, and Satan has used the very people Jordan should be able to trust to heap misery upon an already ailing soul. I've never seen someone deal with as much adversity as Jordan and still not be bitter. There is still emotional pain and hurt, but no bitterness.

I am so grateful for the privilege of having Jordan's friendship and I will always treasure it. The bond we share means more than I could ever say.
