Jordan's Message

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019!
With love and kindness in your life always,
              Faith and Jordan
    Remember to vote!

As long as I’ve got a voice and a vote, I can use them to lift human kind. I’ve been looking for a way to reconcile historic racial injustices with the “Current Me” to and ‘’#Times Up” movement.  I want to speak for every woman who can’t speak for herself and to honor those who’ve found the courage to be a larger voice for our time.
I want to say this say something about race and class and gender and express my deep admiration for every person who is at, long last, telling the truth about fear or guilt or shame. I want to make clear that nobody should ever have to compromise their values or integrity.  My life’s goal is to be of service to a greater good. Where ever that true calling takes me, I’ve always been willing to go. It’s just as boisterous and energizing as the reaction to my book tour was and other people’s enthusiasm isn’t the same as a calling to me. I think it was a
yearning for a different way of envisioning what was best for others. A world where all humans have value. Where the number one goal is elevating humanity. That is what I strive for in my life.
I want everyone to feel that they belong and are worth standing up for, that no matter what darkness you’ve lived through, there’s someone out there willing to carry the light that will lead you to the truth. What I am trying to say is that I refuse to be quiet in the faith of injustice. And

perhaps the best thing about America is that young or old, rich or poor, no matter your race, whatever your religion, you are valued. No better moment than this one, we need to stand up and be the change because God made you to be a voice of change.
I wish you all the very best in the new year, 2019!

Be kind to one another.
Remember to vote with brotherly love!
Love,
Faith and Jordan

My favorite Scripture I love to share this holiday season with all of you as where I am today and that is:
               Job 23:10
“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

“As I have loved you, love one another.”

Prayers Needed

Jordan is asking you to keep praying for him, particularly during conference.
Having just gone through four reconstructive surgeries, he is totally home-bound and lonely, and also in tremendous pain with little strength.  Keeping his name in the temple would be appreciated also; thank you to all of you who have been doing that.
The following quote is from Jordan:

“Learning to love yourself is the greatest gift of all.”

Jordan's Books

In a world that is one giant tangled mass of confusion, it is so easy to become lost on our journey through life, and evil abounds,
especially at this critical time. This small book contains personal thoughts of hope and inspired truths about the workings of the atonement of Jesus Christ in every open and believing mind and heart. These are the final days before the Savior's return, and it is our hope that the insights shared in these few pages will help the reader focus on what is truly important in this life, and prompt hearts to prepare spiritually for the coming of the bridegroom.
A Note from Jewel: I feel utterly blessed to have been able to share in this project with Jordan. God truly blessed him with a heart of gold, and though many disagree with Jordan's choice to focus on helping the homeless, the Lord has strengthened him during his times of trial and this amazing man is holding fast to the Lord's plan for him, putting the Savior's will at the forefront and not caving to the will of man. After all, man is nothing without the Lord, and in the end, Jordan's adversaries will be judged by THE JUDGE and dealt with accordingly. Like me, Jordan's allegiance lies firmly with God, and God will surely bless him for it.

From Jordan: My reason for writing is to share the peace that I have found through the gospel of Christ - the kind of peace that surpasses all understanding. I'm so grateful to Jewel for allowing me to be a part of this project. I've learned much from her and I am grateful to God for the gift of writing and for Jewel's help in helping me become the author and the man I am today.

Out of the Closet Into the Light

After living a life of abuse, abandonment and homosexuality, Jordan Jantz made the ultimate choice. Leaving his old life behind, Jordan came to know and understand God's love for him, as well as discover his own part in the eternal plan. But this book isn't just about his Christian conversion and lifestyle change, it is also about all the things he suffered that helped to bring him to this point. It's about everything he was, everything he is, and everything he is on his way to becoming. Simply put, this is the story of his journey from the painful, cold darkness into the light. A portion of the proceeds from Out of the Closet Into the Light will be donated to The Christmas Box International to support abused and neglected children.
