Accepting the Inevitable

The Lord is very close to Jordan now. I can feel it, and I pray continually that he can feel it and know that even though many have abandoned him, God will always send a precious choice few to comfort him. He is loved and treasured by the Most-High, and one day he will finally come to know just how treasured and valiant he is. He will come to know the perfect, all-encompassing love of his Savior and Redeemer, and he will glory in that love even more than he does now.

Jordan has worn himself out in service to the Lord by serving his fellow man. His life is a monument of all that's good in the world, and when he finally does meet his Savior, I believe with all my heart that the Lord will embrace him and whisper, "Well done. Now enter into my rest. Your reward has been prepared by me."

I love you, Jordan. No matter what, I will never let you be forgotten. Your life matters more than you can possibly know right now. But you will. I promise you in time, you will.
