The combination of dealing with very serious health issues and losing his beloved sister to cancer has really weighed Jordan down and has taken a toll on him emotionally, but remembering the resurrection of Jesus Christ and its importance, and pondering the Savior sacrificing His life so that we may all live again, brings Jordan comfort. It gives him peace to know that his sister Terri is at rest, no longer suffering, and that because of the atonement of Christ, he will get to be with her again. Jordan is also comforted by the knowledge that the Lord loves Terri even more than he does, and she is at rest in Him.Jordan is lovingly sending birthday wishes to his sister in heaven.
The resurrection of Christ is about repentance, forgiveness, redemption, and new beginnings. May we all take comfort in that.
