Note from Jewel: I am so grateful for Jordan and his place in my life. He says that I've taught him, but he has taught me much about what it truly means to love with Christlike love. It hurts to see how much he has been - and still is - being hurt by people who profess to be Christians.
Spiritual and religious abuse is real. I've lived it and been a victim of it. Fortunately, God has blessed me with healing a little at a time, and now I no longer let man rule me in any capacity. My Ruler, my King and Father, is God, and in Him and His Son is where I will forever place my trust. Jesus is my judge. He judges us all, therefore, none of us have the authority to judge each other - judge between right and wrong, yes, but placing judgment on others because of our own flawed human ways isn't God's way. Some of the most wonderful people I know would be considered lost and damned by people who consider themselves "righteous and holy" when they should be checking themselves and getting their own spiritual houses in order. God needs no one to step in and claim a vital job that will never be theirs.
I wish you all an amazing Easter, and just know that you are loved, and God knows each of us inside and out.
