This book is a compilation of selective blog posts from Jordan Jantz’s blog entitled, Out of the Closet Into the Light, named after his first book, which is an autobiography of his life.

Through these posts, as well as his books, you will truly come to know the man, not only glimpsing the man he once was, but clearly see the man he is now–the man he was born to be–and the man God is continually growing him into.

Personal thoughts from Jewel:

Dear readers:

Your fervent prayers are needed for Jordan. He is far sicker than most realize and he isn't getting any better. This is a crucial time and he needs all the help, love, and support he can get. I remind Jordan of the Lord's love for him and try to help him understand that though there aren't many people he can depend on, he can depend on the Lord, as well as those few generous souls that the Lord has kept in his life.

This is a time when Jordan should be surrounded by ward members and loved ones, offering support and willing to go out of their way to succor him, just as the Savior would. As Jordan's brothers and sisters in Christ, we should all be there for him, doing whatever we can to help. Sadly, Jordan does not have that, and the Savior weeps because of it. Jordan is HIS, but that has never seemed to matter.

Because of this, I wish to express my gratitude to Jordan's medical team for having been so good to him and for taking such amazing care of him. You have been true friends to him and the Lord will bless you for all your efforts.

Thank you, Den, for the unwavering friendship you have shown Jordan, going out of your way to make sure his needs are met and doing what you can to make sure he does not go without. May the Lord bless you and your home as well.

Jordan has had the adversary breathing down his neck for so long, and Satan has used the very people Jordan should be able to trust to heap misery upon an already ailing soul. I've never seen someone deal with as much adversity as Jordan and still not be bitter. There is still emotional pain and hurt, but no bitterness.

I am so grateful for the privilege of having Jordan's friendship and I will always treasure it. The bond we share means more than I could ever say.
