CLEBRATE SHARING THE ATONEMENT

APRIL 23rd at 6pm.

This will be Jordan's last fireside in Portland this year.

Jewel Adams was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina.  Her hard childhood spurred her imagination and later on those imaginings fueled her love for writing.

She moved to Utah in 1989 and started writing seriously a few years later.  She is a wife and the mother of eight children.  When she not home schooling her children or writing, she loves to curl up with a box of chocolates and read, her favorites books being romance and fantasy novels.

She speaks to youth audiences.  She has a great love for the youth and because of her own painful childhood, she is always anxiously engaged in helping people, and hearing from her fans.  Jewel and her family live in West Point, Utah.

Beaverton Stake President, Allen Oyler, is conducting this Beaverton Stake Fireside 1025 SW Market Street April 23, 6pm.

Jordan Jantz, child philanthropist, the Life Story featured in Out of the Closet Into the Light and the author of Embraced will speak in this last fireside that Jordan will hold in Portland, Oregon this year.

Let it go and come out Saturday evening, April 23, and join the Spirit of Hope of Portland's own Latter-Day-Saint musical trios of the Downtown Branch and spoil yourself with the delicious dessert baron this lovely Stake Fireside Evening for Everyone.

About Embraced
It is hard times that change the course of our lives. In this book I reveal these moments to show my own fallibility. This book is far different from what I originally envisioned. It reflects what I've found not what I predicted. This book does not follow a conventional outline because as you all know, real life is not conventional. Each experience can become embraced in our life.
About Out of the Closet Into the Light
After living a life of abuse, abandonment and homosexuality, Jordan Jantz made the ultimate choice. Leaving his old life behind, Jordan came to know and understand God's love for him, as well as discover his own part in the eternal plan. But this book isn't just about his Christian conversion and lifestyle change, it is also about all the things he suffered that helped to bring him to this point. It's about everything he was, everything he is, and everything he is on his way to becoming. Simply put, this is the story of his journey from the painful, cold darkness into the light. A portion of the proceeds from Out of the Closet Into the Light will be donated to The Christmas Box International to support abused and neglected children.
