Update on Jordan

I felt impressed to highlight this encouraging comment from Jordan's special friend:-)

This flyer describes the Christmas Dinner at the Park where Jordan found a warm dinner to celebrate Christmas for himself and his disabled neighbor. For the past ten years Jordan has handed out hot baked potatoes to his homeless neighbors in the morning before church each Sunday. That was until his concussion on 9-11-19. This Christmas, instead, Jordan was served Christmas dinner by the homeless community. Jordan is resilient with his love for Jesus, who had no place offered to him when he needed it. Jordan is a person who realizes the value of being able to live and not be judged like so many of the people who have nobody, and nowhere to call home. Jordan’s concussion has changed his life forever, but he continues to want to share his life and hope, and to find ways to help children who have suffered abuse and abandonment.

I’ve just finished reading the first children’s book that Jordan wrote: “Pieces of Cakes.” It is an animated and engaging format to present the idea that we each are different from one another, but can work together to make a new and interesting whole. I’m looking forward to reading the next two of his children’s books (“We’re Going to Make It, After All!”, and “New York City on New Years Eve”. Since his concussion Jordan has not been able to read or write, so I’m reading each of his books with gratitude for the opportunity to learn more about my friend.

I am so grateful to Jewel Adams for helping Jordan develop as an author, so he has had the opportunity to extend positivity and hope to children and their families. I look forward to reading his other two children’s books, and will let you know my experience with them. Seeing someone act with so much kindness makes me even more aware of how essential kindness is for each of us to give and to receive. Thanks for all you do, Jewel.

Tender Thoughts for Jordan

Email from a fan:

"I just wanted to tell you I finished "Out of the Closet Into the Light" in about 2 hours,  I couldn't put it down.  The only thing that got me through the heartbreaking and devastating stories of Jordan's childhood was knowing how the book would end,  so I kept pushing on. I just wanted to tell you it has blessed me greatly,  and before I read it,  I was crying in prayer over a few things in my life I need to fully give to God. And when I read Jordan's prayer at the end of the book,  I felt great peace that the Father had just confirmed in my heart and spirit through that prayer, that He is right here in the midst of it all, loving and caring and faithful to all his promises!
I can't thank you enough and was hoping you could let Jordan know that I am so grateful for his testimony and it has impacted me greatly! I saw on his blog that he is enduring great trials and testing,  and I want him to know there are people he has never met that are praying for him!" ~Joshua

Accepting the Inevitable

The Lord is very close to Jordan now. I can feel it, and I pray continually that he can feel it and know that even though many have abandoned him, God will always send a precious choice few to comfort him. He is loved and treasured by the Most-High, and one day he will finally come to know just how treasured and valiant he is. He will come to know the perfect, all-encompassing love of his Savior and Redeemer, and he will glory in that love even more than he does now.

Jordan has worn himself out in service to the Lord by serving his fellow man. His life is a monument of all that's good in the world, and when he finally does meet his Savior, I believe with all my heart that the Lord will embrace him and whisper, "Well done. Now enter into my rest. Your reward has been prepared by me."

I love you, Jordan. No matter what, I will never let you be forgotten. Your life matters more than you can possibly know right now. But you will. I promise you in time, you will.

Update from Jordan

Christmas in July!
Read Jordan Jantz's story and the events that transformed his life. As
always, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Christmas Box International to help abused and neglected children.
For the past couple of years, Jordan's life has mirrored the prophet, Job. His day-to-day debilitating  health struggles have left him unable to live life as fully. Because Jordan has been so focused on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and serving others, we now have the opportunity to serve him, and he needs all the prayer and service we can give him. By purchasing his biographical work, you can help him continue to help God's little ones.
