Christmas Greetings from Jordan

  1. "Out of the Closet, Into the Light" and "Embraced" share the difficult struggle Jordan has had to escape abuse and abandonment.
I urge all of you to read them. The story they tell is both daunting and inspirational.

I have known Jordan for over 5 years, and at this point am privileged to help as his visiting angel. He suffered a severe concussion September 11, 2019, and I have witnessed his ongoing struggles to come to terms with his disabilities from this injury -- cognitive limitations as well as physical ones.

He faces these challenges with the same tenacity as he has faced all the other challenges in his life. He trusts his faith and works hard to share compassion and hope to others who are suffering. I highly recommend these books to give you a very personal view of a courageous man.

For Jordan to make it through all of this immense damage is a miracle on its own, but coming through all that with such a strong commitment to help others coming from similar destructive beginnings is really remarkable. Jordan's voice for the damaged in all of us is truly a voice for compassion and hope.

Jordan is currently deeply challenged by a severe concussion he sustained on 9-11-19 at the dog boutique. He is limited to using a walker and faces many cognitive and physical problems as a result. He has been advised by his doctors that much of the damage is permanent. In spite of this he continues to work for understanding, compassion, and hope for all who need healing.

  2. I’d like to thank Jewell Adams for her excellent job of showing Jordan’s strength and sustaining faith. The books that she and Jordan have made together show that this faith is real. I hope that over the Christmas and New Year holidays people will read “Out of the Closet Into the Light” and “Embraced”. They are authentic and honest and will move you to compassion.

I have known Jordan for over five years, and am currently serving as his visiting angel. I am supporting Jordan as he’s trying to regain basic functionality after the life-altering concussion he suffered on 9-11-19.

I want to share a little about Jordan as I’ve come to know him.

Jordan’s faith is his strength, and I respect him. He doesn’t flash his faith — he keeps it personal and precious in the private sanctuary of his life. He is persevering daily in recovering from the permanent results of the severe concussion he sustained. He is trying to relearn to tie his shoes, put on a belt, and many other basic skills. He can no longer read or write. For someone who communicates so deeply, this limits his life a lot. He has to use a walker to walk.

I thank all who believe in miracles and faith for their support in Jordan’s life today. He needs your support. Thank you for being in the picture.

I thank you, Jewell, for your integrity to stand for truth for my friend, and for supporting him in his efforts to reach out to others who have suffered from abuse and abandonment. The books that you and Jordan have done together are captivating and moving. Thank you for helping share Jordan’s truth.
