I just got back from the voting booth and I am
exhausted, but God says obey the laws of the land. I didn’t feel like it, but I
obeyed my heart.
To my brothers and sisters in North Star and
throughout the world, and especially to those who have touched my life- most surprisingly
this year - in Affirmation. You all surpassed everyone’s wildest dreams for
hopes and kindness, and to anyone that has been left behind – know that the
first shall be last and the last shall be first – so vote right and listen to
your brother Jordan Jantz who is not part of any plastic fantastic religion.
It doesn’t matter who
you are or how you are voting. Broken Wings Ministries hopes that when you cast
your ballot this November, you will take a moment to think about this great
privilege at this critical time of history and you are the main menu!
The every-day news of the world is often so overwhelming. What
matters is to be a Voice of Hope when you vote. Don’t be ashamed, whether you are
republican or democrat… you are loved! Whether
you vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, you are Beacon of Light from
within. Nobody has the ight to judge you. Don’t be on the sidelines. Vote
because your voice is significant to the lives of children tomorrow.
Open your heart, I beg you, to listen to my heart for it speaks the
truth: your voice is real. Your voice is to our children tomorrow. We each get the
blessing from God to put people who are aligned with the way we want the world
to operate into positions of power.
Though we will hear much dissonance and discord these next two weeks,
the right thing to do is to embrace
it. Voting is Pieces of Cakes for
all of us who are Latter-day Saints. Whether your polling place is in a school,
a fire-station or a post-office, whether you pull a level, press a button or
check a box with a pencil, do the patriotic thing – the American thing – choose
wisely and don’t ignore God’s message to obey the laws of the land – vote! Vote,
for the children are our future.
I took the blessing to vote even in my life’s health and physical
challenge. I only do it for the collective future for children throughout the
world. Will you do the same?
Blessings to all of you -- Jordan Jantz

About Out of the Closet Into the Light
After living a life of abuse, abandonment and homosexuality, Jordan Jantz made the ultimate choice. Leaving his old life behind, Jordan came to know and understand God's love for him, as well as discover his own part in the eternal plan. But this book isn't just about his Christian conversion and lifestyle change, it is also about all the things he suffered that helped to bring him to this point. It's about everything he was, everything he is, and everything he is on his way to becoming. Simply put, this is the story of his journey from the painful, cold darkness into the light. A portion of the proceeds from Out of the Closet Into the Light will be donated to The Christmas Box International to support abused and neglected children.

It is hard times that change the course of our lives. In this book I
reveal these moments to show my own fallibility. This book is far
different from what I originally envisioned. It reflects what I've found
not what I predicted. This book does not follow a conventional outline
because as you all know, real life is not conventional. Each experience
can become embraced in our life.
